If the early morning call of Francolin and Hadeda or the cry of the Fish Eagle excites you, or the melodious late night call of the serval on the hunt thrills you, or being greeted on your early evening walk beside the dam by a symphony of frog calls and the splash of leaping trout, or watching the birth of a baby wildebeest tweaks your emotions, then stop right here. There is no doubt that Eaglecrest is for you.

Eaglecrest enjoys a wide variety of indigenous game and birdlife. The game belongs to and is the responsibility of the Stonehaven Wildlife Sanctuary. It is the intention of this trust to add new species and encourage breeding, particularly with endangered species such as the Oribi. As a result of Eaglecrest aquiring a traversing agreement with the Stonehaven Wildlife Sanctuary the game will roam the Eaglecrest property, and residents will be able to walk on the Stonehaven Wildlife Sanctuary.

We currently have zebra, oribi, bushbuck, eland, impala, black wildebeest, blesbok duiker, bushpig, serval and otters on the estate. We have a bird list of 121 species and look forward to your additions to this list.
